League News

Due to a medical hardship of Karima Christmas- Kelly along with Kaela Davis, the Wings have signed Maggie Lucas a 2014 No. 21 overall draft pick for the remainder of the season.

“The loss of Karima Christmas-Kelly for the season, along with Kaela Davis’ diagnosis of vertigo has left us shorthanded,” Wings President and CEO Greg Bibb stated. “We are fortunate to be able to add a player like Maggie, who has WNBA experience and maintains an extraordinary fitness level, which will allow her to step in immediately if needed.” (via WNBA.com)
