Rookie of the Week: Diamond DeShields, Sky

DeShields has been playing great as of late.  She is the only other rookie that could be included in the ROY debate, if it wasn’t for the Aces’ A’ja Wilson.  In the Sky’s last win against the Lynx, DeShields had a ROY performance with 28 points on 11 of 15 shooting. She also shot 100 percent from beyond the arc (3 of 3) and grabbed 4 rebounds. DeShields is currently averaging 28.1 minutes per game, 13.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and shooting 40.5 percent from the field.
